Goal Gamb!Art
Gamb!Art has a clear goal:
To create a community where Gambian Designers can come together in peace to create plans, work them out, expose and sell trough various channels,in order to build a hotspot for modern African design, that can sustain itself by always being innovative in the always changing designer market.
The current situation

But also: - No easy way to expose and sell
- No creative education
- No collaborations
- Difficult to find support
- No workspace
How do we achive our goal?
- Unite the talented youth
- Support collaborations of designers
- Make the designs visible to the world
- Collect materials, tools, instruments etc..
- Make workspaces available
- Setup a foundation in The Netherlands (Europe)
- Selling point In The Gambia at tourists locations
- Creative professional use of internet
Donate to the Gamb!Art project
The foundation will purchase a seacontainer with the first money they receive. We will fill this with materials, tools and other useful items for the designers in Gambia. The foundation will also use the resources to obtain the right papers and permits for the location. We already started this process.
The ultimate plan is to build a creative collective of talented African designers who have no materials and opportunities to showcase their special arts in their own place.
The African Modern Design is an emerging art form that has yet to be discovered in many places in the world. The fresh view through other people's culture on modern art opens up a whole new stream of innovative designs.
